Matías R. Bolaños in the World Quantum Day in Padua, Italy, 2025.

On April 14, Doctoral Candidate Matías Rubén Bolaños participated in the World Quantum Day at the University of Padua, Italy. It was a great opportunity to bring quantum physics and its applications to the general public. The event was designed for both children and adults and was offered in Italian and English. The aim was to introduce them to the world of quantum computing through an interactive and engaging experience.

In connection with the Year of Quantum Technologies, the Quantum Group of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Padua also organized a special event dedicated to secondary school students from Padua and its province. At this event, Matías R. Bolaños had the opportunity to teach about a quantum random number generation experiment with a relatively simple configuration. He took the opportunity of this event to invite attendees to participate in the QSI Science Art Contest.
