My PhD within QSI has taken me from studying the challenges of finite data analysis to exploring the possibilities of quantum communication through satellites. Along the way, I have worked on developing tighter security bounds and understanding how changing quantum channels affect the performance and security of quantum key distribution.

At the heart of my research lies a fundamental question: how can we make reliable decisions when the information available to us is always limited? This is a challenge faced by many PhD researchers, and one that has ultimately shaped the focus of my thesis. Through QSI, I have had the opportunity to explore this question in the context of quantum technologies and contribute to the development of more secure communication systems.
