QSI in Horizon Magazine

On 31 July, and on the occasion of our attendance at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, Horizon Magazine published an article about the QSI project. The article features insights from Marcos Curty, the project coordinator at the University of Vigo; Alex Grilo, an experienced cryptography researcher at Sorbonne University; and Silvia Ritsch and Alessandro Marcomini, doctoral candidates. It highlights QSI’s efforts to secure our communications against future quantum threats.

The article emphasises that the QSI project is at the forefront of developing next-generation cryptographic solutions to safeguard our communications against the emerging threats posed by quantum computing. As quantum technologies advance, traditional encryption methods become more vulnerable. QSI’s innovative approach is to create quantum-safe security protocols that will ensure the confidentiality and integrity of online communications in a future where quantum attacks could become a reality. This pioneering effort is in line with Europe’s commitment to digital security and technological sovereignty.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks for the insightful article Horizon Magazine published about our work. We truly appreciate the attention it has been given to our mission and the thoughtful way in which our initiatives were presented.

This coverage not only highlights the importance of innovation in our field, but also helps bring our research and goals to a broader audience.
