Álvaro Yángüez visits the International Baccalaureate, Madrid 2025.
Álvaro Yángüez has visited the high school IES Ramiro de Maeztu in Madrid as part of his outreach activities. He has introduced to the students of the last year of the science path of the International Baccalaureate to the field of quantum cryptography. Moreover, he has explained ideas such as entanglement or superposition, their risks for classical cryptography and the possibility of quantum key distribution as a solution for symmetric cryptography. Lastly, he has presented the website of QSI and encouraged the students to participate in the art contest organized by the Doctoral Network.
