About me

Loïc Millet is a doctoral researcher at ID Quantique SA and in the Group of Applied Physics at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. His research aims at developing and integrating state-of-the-art Quantum Key Distribution building blocks into IDQ’s commercial systems.

Loïc earned his Master’s degree in Applied Physics at INSA Toulouse (France), and in Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University (South Korea), where he investigated the coupling between photons and magnetic excitations for computing applications. Prior to joining IDQ, Loïc worked as a research assistant in the Optical Nanomaterial Group at ETH Zürich.
